An Evening of Dance curated by Dance Saskatchewan Inc.

Cathedral Village Arts Festival is pleased to present an Evening of Dance curated by Dance Saskatchewan, Inc. Under the Big Top at Holy Rosary Park.


5:00 pm  – Ammanda Zelinsky & Jason Yuen

These two are a triple threat! They are U of R graduates and have both taught within the community through Queen City Lindy. Ammanda has perfect pitch and Jason is a great piano player!  


5:20 pm – Tessa Rae & Stedroy Crump (HipHop)

Stedroy has been in love with Hip Hop ever since he was young. He is a two-time recipient of the Manitoba Dance Festival Scholarship, and has won Gold at Dance World Cup. Tessa Rae is a Dance artist from Regina with a BFA from Ryerson University. She recently completed a new solo commission supported by New Dance Horizons and SK Arts.


5:40pm – Ashley Johnson (Contemporary)

Ashley Johnson is a dance artist and Somatic Movement Educator from Regina. She performs and teaches independently and with New Dance Horizons. Her current solo, Conversations with a Faltering Heart, blends sensing, speaking and dancing to examine the timeline of a heart defect. 


6:00pm – Chaban Regina (Ukrainian Dance)

Chaban Regina showcases the richness and beauty of Ukrainian Dance and proudly keeps Ukrainian culture alive. They are sure to delight audiences of all ages and invite you to “Dance With Us!”. Bitaemo!


6:20 – Living Skies (Irish Dance)

Living Skies performances take on a creative flare when traditional Irish dance is fused with contemporary music and style. Living Skies provides quality instruction for everyone. 


6:40 pm – Youth Ballet 

Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan believes in fostering young artists to develop their unique voice through professional training, public performance, and contribution to the choreographic process. They offer classes for all ages in an inclusive environment.


7pm Salsa Colada (Latin Dance)

Salsa Colada’s mission is to ensure our dancers become better, more confident, happier and healthier individuals through dance!


7:20pm – Terrance Littletent (Indigenous Dance)

Terrance is an accomplished Grass and Hoop Dancer who has traveled across Canada, the United States, and overseas, sharing his gift of song, dance, and narrative, in a humble way.

3pm Regina Salseros

Regina Salseros are dedicated to teaching Latin Dance in a fun, encouraging environment.The studio provides quality instruction in various styles including salsa, bachata, and cha-cha-cha.


6:30pm Fada Dance

Fada Dance are bringing big dance energy to the Holy Rosary stage! Fada Dance is dedicated to providing a stable and nurturing experience for every young dancer.
